Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
By using smartoutdoorlightning.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Information, Not Advice
The site publishes research, comparisons and buying guidance about smart outdoor lighting. It is general information to help you choose, not professional advice. Electrical work, mounting and outdoor wiring carry real risks: follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes, and use a qualified electrician where the installation calls for one.
2. Accuracy and Prices
We work to keep specifications, availability and prices accurate, but products change and prices move constantly. Prices shown are approximate. The price and terms on the retailer’s own checkout are the ones that apply, and we are not responsible for differences between what this site shows and what a retailer charges. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.
3. Affiliate Relationships
Some links on this site are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Purchases are made with the retailer, not with us: the retailer is responsible for the product, delivery, returns and warranty, under its own terms.
4. Third-Party Sites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
5. Intellectual Property
The text and layout of this site are ours. Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products discussed. You may quote brief passages with a link back to the source page.
6. Limitation of Liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its content, including decisions to buy or install a product.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version. Questions go through the contact page. See also our privacy policy.
